Material is the first engineering decision

Plastic Sheet Materials for Custom Fabrication

ONE PLASTIC’s manufacturing base is strongest in PET and PVC sheet and extends into PETG, PP and selected engineering plastics for fabrication. The right material choice depends on forming, clarity, impact, chemical exposure, printing and compliance needs.

Project logic

Make the process fit the product.

01

Start with performance, not the polymer name

Define the part’s job, temperature, impact, chemical contact, appearance and forming method first. This narrows material options faster than selecting a familiar resin and adjusting the design around it.

02

Use one approved material reference

Color, surface, recycled content, protective film and compliance documents should be tied to a grade or approved sample. Generic polymer names are not enough for repeat production.

Common questions

Details buyers ask before an RFQ.

Can you recommend a plastic sheet material?+

Yes. Share the end use, forming method, appearance, thickness and compliance requirements so the team can compare practical options.

Can material be supplied as rolls and cut sheets?+

Many PET, PETG and PVC products are available in roll or sheet formats, with cut-to-size conversion when required.

Can recycled material be specified?+

RPET and other recycled-content options can be reviewed with performance, appearance and documentation requirements.
