Select process and material together

A design that works in acrylic CNC machining may need different radii, wall thickness or split lines for thermoforming or injection molding. Early process choice prevents unnecessary redesign.

Prototype the risky features

The most useful prototype answers specific questions: fit, appearance, strength, optical clarity or assembly. It does not always need to imitate the final production process.

Freeze a manufacturable revision

Before repeat production, drawings, material grade, finish, samples and packaging need controlled revision references. This protects both buyer and factory from silent changes.

Can you work from a physical sample?+

Yes. Samples can support reverse review and process selection, but final dimensions and ownership of design data should be confirmed before tooling.

Do I need a complete CAD model?+

No. A clear sketch, reference product and target requirements can start the conversation. CAD becomes important before precise fabrication or tooling.

How do you protect confidential designs?+

An NDA can be arranged before sensitive files are shared, followed by controlled drawing and revision references.
